Jupiter enters Leo on 31 October 2026: what it means for all 12 signs

Jupiter leaves Cancer and enters Leo on 31 October 2026 at 12:02 IST (New Delhi).

It stays in Leo until 25 January 2027.

While there it turns retrograde on 13 December 2026.

What it brings

Jupiter governs wisdom, teachers, children, wealth, marriage and dharma. Leo is a friend's sign for Jupiter: it works with ease here. It enters Leo in Magha nakshatra.

What it means for each Moon sign

Gochar is read from your Moon sign (rashi). Classical rules, in brief:

• Aries (5th house): Jupiter transits your 5th house from the Moon (children, studies, romance and ideas) — a favourable position in classical gochar.
• Taurus (4th house): Jupiter transits your 4th house from the Moon (home, mother, property and peace of mind) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Gemini (3rd house): Jupiter transits your 3rd house from the Moon (courage, siblings and short journeys) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Cancer (2nd house): Jupiter transits your 2nd house from the Moon (money, family and speech) — a favourable position in classical gochar.
• Leo (1st house): Jupiter transits your 1st house from the Moon (self, health and confidence) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Virgo (12th house): Jupiter transits your 12th house from the Moon (expenses, sleep, foreign lands and letting go) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Libra (11th house): Jupiter transits your 11th house from the Moon (gains, income and friends) — a favourable position in classical gochar.
• Scorpio (10th house): Jupiter transits your 10th house from the Moon (career, status and public life) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Sagittarius (9th house): Jupiter transits your 9th house from the Moon (luck, father, teachers and long journeys) — a favourable position in classical gochar.
• Capricorn (8th house): Jupiter transits your 8th house from the Moon (sudden changes, research and long-held matters) — a position that asks for patience and care.
• Aquarius (7th house): Jupiter transits your 7th house from the Moon (marriage, partnerships and business dealings) — a favourable position in classical gochar.
• Pisces (6th house): Jupiter transits your 6th house from the Moon (health, debts, competition and daily work) — a position that asks for patience and care.

A simple remedy

For Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces: Respect teachers and elders; on Thursdays give turmeric, gram dal or yellow cloth.

A transit is read with your own chart and running dasha; a planet's effect depends on its strength in your Kundli.
